The Chairwoman of Throughcare Housing and Support is Mrs Kulbinder Kaur (Kelly).
Kelly has twenty years of experience within the property industry and she is ideally placed to identify suitable properties within the West Midlands that are needed for the organisation to provide homes to vulnerable people.
Being established within Handsworth, an area central to Birmingham, West Bromwich, Oldbury, and Great Barr etc, Kelly has built up a good reputation within the community and importantly for this organisation. She has a good relationship and reputation amongst her peers. It is because of this relationship Kelly is able to source suitable accommodation for the project.
Key Team Members:
- Ms Rashpal Kaur Matharu has years of experience in Human Resources, Diversity and Mental Health. She has worked in public, private and voluntary sector. The majority of her experience comes from the NHS – Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust. Most recently Rashpal has worked as a property Manager overseeing four other projects within the North West of Birmingham. Rashpal has a degree in Human Resource Management and Politics and is currently studying a postgraduate in counselling and domestic violence studies.
- Mr William Kerrighan (Billy) has been in the housing development business for 28 years. Billy also currently works with other housing associations liasing with key members to assist in providing housing and support services to underprivileged people across the Midlands. He is also the president of a local boxing club with members as young as 8 years old.
- Miss Louise Wallace is the company PA and will manage the administrative role of the company. Louise has over 5 years experience in administrative and customer services. Louise will manage the day-to-day running of the administrative team and liase with likewise organisations.
- Yasmin Hussain is a Life Coach & NLP Practitioner and believes that each person needs to know how to live a life full of the “good” emotions and believes this is possible regardless of background and past experiences. Yasmin has worked with vulnerable 16- 25 year olds for a number of years. She has a passionate approach, valuing diversity and EOPS; Yasmin is excited and enthusiastic for her future plans with MHTHS.
Together, Kelly and her Team have the knowledge, experience and the skills to provide the support vulnerable people need to become part of their community, live independent lives and receive the education or employment required to give them the stability they need to become valued members of society.
